Happy holidays! This is a festive sweet treat that is quick and easy to make. Just grab a bag of your favorite popcorn (mine is Lesser Evil himalayan pink salt) and some chocolate melting wafers (I used both white and dark chocolate), and drizzle the chocolate over the popcorn. Top with some crushed candy cane pieces and that's it! Hope you enjoy xo

ingredients

1 bag popcorn (I used Lesser Evil's pink salt popcorn)

5 oz dark chocolate melting wafers

5 oz white chocolate melting wafers

2 crushed candy canes

recipe (makes 10 servings)

  1. pour popcorn into a large baking sheet that popcorn is spread out into a thin layer

  2. add dark chocolate melting wafers to a small mixing bowl and microwave for 30 seconds and then stir (if not melted, continue to microwave and mix in increments of 15 seconds)

  3. drizzle dark chocolate over the popcorn using a spoon

  4. repeat the same steps for the white chocolate melting wafers as the dark chocolate and drizzle white chocolate over the popcorn using a spoon

  5. crush candy canes using a mortal and pestle (or by placing candy canes into a plastic bag and smashing into smaller pieces)

  6. sprinkle candy cane pieces over the popcorn

  7. let sit for 5-10 mins until the chocolate hardens

  8. break sheet of popcorn into smaller clusters and pieces, place into a big bowl for serving, and enjoy!
